Review on Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Hey Lovelies!

How are you all doing my lovely ladies? Today I am here to review a facial mask from Innisfree, Super volcanic pore clay mask. I generally avoid clay masks as they make my skin dry except my oily t-zone area, but after using the Volcanic Pore Clay mask for several months, I was super excited to try this much raved product which is super volcanic pore clay mask from the same brand. This particular mask is one of the best-selling products from the brand itself. I have been using this mask for more than a month now and thought of sharing my experience with you guys.

So let’s jump into the review now

What the product claims:

This clay mask with its super volcanic cluster capsules powerfully adsorbs sebum to intensively resolve pore concerns.

volcanic clay is made from minerals released by volcanic explosions in . It's categorized as a preserved alkaline resource and is effective in removing sebum and other impurities. (Contains 6,020 mg of  volcanic clay).
As the capsule bursts, the mask exfoliates and removes dead skin cells. The AHA ingredient chemically exfoliates and smoothes out skin.
The strong absorption of sebum and cooling effect of the clay refreshes the skin and contracts pores.

How to use:

After cleansing, apply skin toner to refine skin texture and gently smooth over entire face, avoiding the eye and lip area.
After 10 minutes, gently roll using fingertips to rinse off with lukewarm water.

My Take on the product:

It comes in a brown colored recycled paper box. The packaging of the product itself comes in hard plastic chocolate brown sturdy tub which has a twisted cap on the top. There is a thin plastic film inside for extra protection through which you can see the actual product. Clay mask is creamy off-white in color which is having a thick creamy texture.  I feel the consistency is too thick and for that reason it takes much time for an even application. It has almost negligible smell of fresh clay which is not going to bother any sensitive noses and gives an instant cooling sensation which you can feel even after rinsing off the mask with water, that’s really great!   It feels light on my skin and can dries within 15 minutes but it will not make your skin very tighten after drying. I leave it on my skin for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse off with normal water. I do have dry to combination skin and in the summer time it tends to get oily near t-zone area, this mask completely removes oil, sebum from that area. It is really doing great on controlling my open pores near my nose area too. After washing the face you can clearly feel the smoothness in your skin with immediate effect and off course sebum free. I generally use this mask before going to bed and in the next morning I can see the difference in open pores as it looks pretty minimized which is very clearly noticeable.  I couldn’t feel any dryness after washing my face, just too good! I could see a brighter looking skin immediately after the application though it is temporary. It never irritates my sensitive skin areas near nose and chin and yes no signs of tingling effect on those areas. It helps to minimize open large pores well and makes my skin smooth and temporarily brighter.

Pros:

· Convenient packaging
· No strong fragrance
· Gives instant cooling sensation which is very refreshing
· Feels light on skin
· Doesn’t make skin dehydrated
· Makes skin sebum free
· Helps to minimize large open pores
· Causes no irritation on sensitive skin area

Cons:

·      I really couldn’t find any
For tub packaging I always scoop out a generous amount with a spatula whenever I use it. So no questions of hygiene issue!

Verdict:

Overall I am super impressed with this clay mask so a big thumps up to this product and this is my HG face mask for sure! It really works great on making your oily skin area sebum free and helps to control large pores. I would recommend this mask to all combination to oily skin people as it really does everything whatever it claims.
