Just Herbs Silksplash Neem-Orange Rehydrant Face Wash Review

Hi ladies!

Hope you all are doing well. Today I am here to review a face wash from Just herbs, Silkplash Neem-Orange Rehydrant Face Wash. I generally do have dry skin but it tends to get combination in the summers and I always end up catching skin irritations with mild pimples near my sensitive nose and chin area and any chemically loaded skincare product can make this area itchy or red, so I always try to avoid chemicals as much as I can. This face wash is meant for all skin types, I am using this face wash regularly for past few days which is free from paraben and sulfate and thought of sharing my view about this product with you guys.

So let’s get started.

So let’s get started.

What the product claims:

An ideal rehydrate foaming Ayurvedic cleanser with the natural goodness of neem, Chandan(sandal wood) and honey which gently removes the last traces of dust, grime and make-up residue, yet retaining the inherent moisture of the skin. While Sandal Wood is moisturising and anti-inflammatory, Calendula acts as natural antiseptic and antibacterial agent with sun radiation protective properties. Aloe Vera, Honey and Orange peel deeply moisturize leaving the skin with an amazing sense of freshness and a velvety sheen all day long.
    • Especially suited for oily skin.
    • Contains certified organic Neem and Aloe Vera.
    • Free from petrochemicals, parabens, SLS/SLES PEG/PPG, Genetically modified ingredients(GMO) and other synthetic ingredients.

My take on the product:

The product comes in a sturdy transparent plastic bottle with a pump dispenser on the top which is further covered by a plastic cap. Packaging is handy but I didn’t like the plastic cap concept covering the dispenser on the top as it is not a good leak proof system in my opinion. The product has a gel based consistency, totally runny in nature. Face wash is orange in color and has a pleasant refreshing smell of oranges and more like sandalwood we can say. It doesn't lather much but cleans face well, leaving my skin squeaky clean. I have dry skin but it tends to get combination in the summers, so apart from the oily T-zone area my skin behaves weirdly dry and patchy even in the summers, but I couldn’t feel any dryness after washing my face for the presence of honey as it acts as a nourishing agent in the face wash and it can pull out those dirt and impurities from my skin making it clean and smooth from everyday pollution. And yes it doesn’t irritate my sensitive nose and chin area. All you need a pea size of the product for each application, so obviously a 100 ml bottle can serve you for long.

·         Free from parabens, SLS and SLES
·         Gel based perfect consistency for a face wash
·         Gives a soft and supple skin after each application
·         Removes dirt and impurities from daily pollution leaving skin squeaky clean
·         Doesn’t make skin dry and thus maintains skin hydration.
·         Pleasant refreshing smell

·         I couldn’t find any

Overall I am impressed with this cleanser. I have dry to combination skin, and this doesn’t dry up my face but pulls out the excess oil and dirt from oily t-zoned area. Though it doesn’t lather much but cleanses well leaving my skin soft without irritating my sensitive skin area. I would recommend it to all skin type people, give it a try and let me know how you find it.

That’s all for today darlings!
